Routes
The 2008 routes have been selected by our route planner and have been approved by the various authorities. Although there might be some minor changes to these routes we are publishing them now to help you choose your preferred route.
We are using Google Earth for added functionality and you can either view basic or interactive maps by clicking on the links below.
Want to see where all the 2008 bases and routes are ?
Download the basic Maps (.jpg files) :
Download the Google Earth* files to apply the Bases, Hike and Transport routes and explore the area. On opening the kmz file Google Earth loads the relevant feature/place, being Bases, Hike or Transport into Google Earth “Temporary Places”. Make sure that the Temporary Places box is ticked so that the feature/place displays. When exiting Google Earth click on ‘Yes’ to save your Temporary Places features/places to the My Places folder
Another option is to click here for the zipped file and save to your PC.
*Note:
If you do not have Google Earth on your PC click on this path to download the programme: http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html
